Field Trips

Bring your classroom to the countryside!

Our field trips offer children a fun and educational day at the farm—from learning about apple growing and harvesting to enjoying a hands-on picking experience.

Great for: Preschools, elementary schools, homeschool groups, and daycares.

Pricing for Field Trips & Homeschool Groups:
$15 per child

Includes a small bag of apples and a curated educational talk. Please remember: this is a working farm. For their safety, children must be supervised at all times.

Larger Groups & Corporate Retreats

Get out of the office and into the orchard.

Host your next team-building day here with apple picking, lawn games, and space to picnic under the trees. A peaceful alternative to a typical boardroom.

Ideal for: Team retreats, volunteer days, corporate bonding events, networking socials.

pricing for larger groups & Corporate Outings & Large Groups: starting at $30 per person

Includes one peck of apples, access to a reserved area with picnic tables, fire pits, and corn hole games.

Special Events at the Orchard

As always, F. T. Valley Farm will be a stop on the Rappahannock Farm Tour this fall—mark your calendar for Saturday, September 26. In addition to the tour, we’ll be hosting a sunset concert series featuring local musicians, a special day benefiting the Shenandoah National Park Trust, star-gazing nights, yoga classes, and more.
